This colored pencil drawing is from my flower series called “Soul Garden”. They were inspired by the writings of St Teresa of Avila, and her metaphor of the garden as the soul.

I was inspired by St Teresa of Avila, for this colored pencil drawing. Some of her writings spoke of the journey our soul takes in finding our way to God, as compared to silkworms and their journey to becoming a moth, then flying away.
